The Parish Feast Day of St. Osburg, and our Parish Day of dedication will be celebrated on 9th September. There will be special prayers and a common lunch organised.
RCIA: All those who would like to join the Catholic faith are invited to register for the programme of RCIA. Please call the Office number or the Parish Priest Number for appointments. At the same time we invite the parents whose children are not in Catholic schools to register their children for the instructions for first Holy Communion and Confirmation. The instructions will start on Monday 9th September 2019.
The Church Choir: We are in need of parishioners who can play keyboard to support the music in church. There is great joy in making music for the Lord; please come and have this joy with the Lord.
Engaged Encounter Weekend: on 12/13th October at The Dormer Conference Centre, Leamington Spa.
Dowry of Mary Pilgrimage to Walsingham will be on 8th September. Please if you wish to join the pilgrimage, book your seat with Breda No. 01788331593 or 07789566816. Fare is £10.00
Fundraising resources:
Parish Hall: As our Parish Hall and Kitchen have been improved, I encourage you and your friends to come and use it for your parties or ceremonies (Birthday, Anniversaries, Graduations, Weddings, Rehearsals for drama/music, Meetings and any others).
Saturday Lunches and Cafod Soup: These have closed for summer holidays until mid September 2019. Tuesday tea for the Senior citizens will be on through out the holidays, please everybody is welcome to the Foyer to share life experiences.
Any other person with fundraising initiatives is welcome; please contact the Parish Priest to discuss details.
Volunteers are required for the activities of the parish: Saturday lunches, Altar servers, gardeners, church cleaning and welcoming worshippers at the entrance of the church.
Prayer groups: all are invited to join any of the following; Legion of Mary, Charismatic renewal, the youth and choir.
