Welcome to our Parish website.  St Osburg’s is also known as ‘The Most Holy Sacrament and St Osburg’ and has been the Mother church of Coventry since 1807.

St. Osburg’s Parish Church is re-opened for private prayers; We shall reopen the church from Sunday 21st June. It will be opened at 1:00Pm for two hours, that is up to 3:00pm. Please follow the instructions from the stewards and the signage. The maximum time taken for private prayer by an individual is 15 minutes. This will allow other people chance. We shall not expect more than 15 people in the church at the same time. Our days of opening are Sunday, Tuesday and Friday all at 1:00pm for 2 hours each day.

Archbishop’s message on Funeral Services; With the recent development of re-opening churches for private prayer, the Archbishop has permitted the celebration of funeral services in the churches which have fulfilled the conditions of re-opening for individual prayers. It will be service , not Mass, but limited to the few members of the family.

Make an Act of Spiritual Communion –  This can be done whilst you watch a live stream of Mass by saying the following prayer:

“My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You.”
